WOW It has been soooo long since I had a moment to stop by...I'm surprised that Sandy didn't shut it down...

We have had some very hard times that have kept me from being here...now, before we all start worrying too much, Ivy is doing well...as a matter of fact, she is now in school!!

At the beginning of June, I lost my job to a 48% downsizing. I mean to tell you, it couldn't have been worse...so I thought, because at the ned of the month, Ivy lost her MediCare as well. Because she had been off dialysis for over a year, they took away all of her benefits...what a time for me to lose my job.

We were without insurance for two months, which is very scary if you are caring for someone who is oxygen dependent and you don't know where you are going to get it from!

Ivy still had MediCAL, but not one of her doctors accepted it...neither did the oxygen supplying company...

So, with Kathie's help, I found a position in Irvine with a pharmacutical company. The pay is less by quite a bit, but the compan is stable, so I'm not complaining...much.

I will try to get back here and put together a proper update...thanks for keeping in touch Howard...and everyone else as well...
