I will never forget that day as long as I live...

We sent Ivy roses this morning to mark the day...

Five years ago today, after hours of surgery, the doctors told us Ivy had about a one percent chance of survival and to say our goodbyes.

Kathie told them that day "you don't know my daughter".

She was so very right...

Today Ivy is miserable with a horrible cold, but she is also a full time student, a member of the honor society at her college and has been invited to speak by one of her professors…
I guess she showed them all…
