The Retro side of the Hideaway is an old fashioned forum community, reminiscent of some of the online communities of the past such as bianca.com. The Retro side provides free forums, free home pages, free guest books, free public and private chat rooms and other web publishing applications. Everyone is welcome to create a free handle. If you'd like your handle upgraded to include a free website please open a support ticket. Chat at the Hideaway

Both the Retro and the Grotto provide chat rooms. The Retro chats are browser based HTML chats and the Grotto chats are IRC-style Java chats.

The Hideaway Grotto is a more modern form of social networking. We like to think of the Grotto as Facebook for adults. Grotto members receive a profile page, free blog, free photo albums and free Grotto mail.

Retro Site-Owned Forums

These forums are owned and operated by the Hideaway Hermits (admins). All of the site owned forums are flame-free with the exception of the Parlor where anything goes (within the TOS of course).

Bulletins - This board serves as an archive for Hermit announcements and bulletins and is read-only. If you have an announcement please post it on the Community Forum. :)

Community Forum - The Community Forum is the central meeting place of the Hideaway. Post your introductions, greetings, salutations, hallucinations, announcements for all, jokes, riddles, games, puzzles, videos, thought provoking questions,  etc. to the Community forum.

HTML Help - Need help with a pesky HTML problem? Something not quite right? This is the place to ask your HTML and design questions.

Members Only - A private discussion forum where full members meet to talk to other members about issues or general concerns to the community.

The Parlor - *NSFW* Step into my parlor, said the spider to the fly... This is not a flame-free forum. You have been warned. :)
